Symon developed an interest in Turret Clocks and restored local landmarks including Manchester University, Portico Library and local churches.

In 2013 Symon and Jacqui relocated to Timsbury, to be closer to their daughters. This business quickly took off and once again the personal recommendations bringing in new business.

The opportunity arose to take on more turret clock work and Symon is now heavily involved in the advising, conservation and maintenance of Turret clocks within a two hour radius. He has taken on the position of the Turret Clock Advisor for the Bristol Diocese
